  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: A few sugar-free chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

  1. Whip the Cream:
    In a medium mixing bowl, pour the heavy whipping cream. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, whip the cream on medium-high speed until it forms stiff peaks (about 3-4 minutes). Make sure not to overwhip, as it could turn into butter.
  2. Prepare the Chocolate Mousse:
    In a separate bowl, sift the cocoa powder to remove any lumps. Add the powdered erythritol (or other sweetener), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
  3. Combine:
    Gradually fold the cocoa powder mixture into the whipped cream using a spatula. Gently stir until the mousse is smooth and well-combined, being careful not to deflate the whipped cream.
  4. Chill:
    Spoon the mousse into individual serving bowls or glasses. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the mousse to set and become even more decadent.
  5. Garnish and Serve:
    If desired, garnish with a few sugar-free chocolate shavings or a light dusting of cocoa powder. Serve cold and enjoy!
