- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 can (10.75 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuits
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cheddar cheese, milk, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Cut each biscuit into quarters and gently stir them into the chicken mixture.
- Spoon the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Pour melted butter evenly over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the casserole is golden brown and the biscuits are cooked through.
- Serve hot, ideally with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad.
Notes
- If you prefer a slightly crispier top, you can broil for the last 2-3 minutes of baking, but be sure to keep an eye on it to avoid burning.
